November 2016 ICR Conference 2017
The ICR Conference ‘ dare to dream’.
For any Reflexologist that ‘dares to dream’ have a think about how you can make this amazing opportunity possible. The ICR holds a bi-annual conference and in 2017 it is being held in Taiwan. Yes that’s right Taiwan! The 4 days will be packed full of networking, learning and sharing opportunities bringing Reflexologists together from many countries around the world.
What is the ICR?
The International Council of Reflexologists established in 1990 in Toronto is constantly striving to find dynamic and informative speakers to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, theories and techniques and to obtain information on subjects that members will find relevant to their profession. The ICR currently has members in over 26 countries around the world.
So why am I sharing this information?
When I attended the ICR conference in 2015 it was held in Sheffield in the UK it was a super few days. As I left, I thought about all the worthwhile information I could share to support Reflexologists and wondered… perhaps delegates at the next conference would be really interested to know about the developing work of Functional Reflex Therapy and the delivering of Reflexology in the school system working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Can you imagine my surprise when I was invited to submit an abstract early in 2016, that was a privilege and a steep learning curve in itself but one that proved successful as I am very honoured to say that I have been invited to give a presentation at the 16th ICR Conference in Taiwan… wow!
If you are a Reflexologist who ‘dares to dream’ and would like to listen to many world renowned speakers in October 2017 and attend workshops to learn new techniques and approaches and would like the opportunity to meet Father Josef, tour his organisation and learn about his great work register your interest at the ICR website http://www.icr-reflexology.org/conferences/Conference2017.html and find out more.
See you in Taiwan!
